Atlanta United sees Almada, Moreno and Araujo clicking little by little. But, the big mistakes are still hurting us and Gonzalo Pineda needs to start enforcing some changes. We started to see Araujo out on his natural left side which is great, but need to shift away from Zone D.
Dave brings some stats as we hit 1/3 into the season. What's working and what's not by the numbers. And Mike bring ATLONFIRE Trivia to bore us with Offside rules and applogies to the internet.

Atlanta gets a much needed win vs a poor Chicago Fire team. Mike and Dave walk through the highlights and have some worries about Pineda's system. That said, we are very talented, even with a terrible injury to Miles Robinson, ending his season and hopes for the World Cup. We talk about it all, including Women's professional soccer, EPL and CCL.

Atlanta United needs to move away from zone defense when the other teams have a set kick.. Set pieces are a big problem that needs to be resolved. We go down to Miami and can't get it done with 66% possession and more talent on the field. Montreal yields the same result with 62% possession. Mike can't keep his computer powered up and the podcast goes a little wonky.

Atlanta United Charlotte Loss and Draw vs Cincinnati. We recap both games and talk about it all. Red Wine, VAR, injuries and 3 games with no goals. Atlanta United is still 4th in the Eastern Conference. While things are not clicking, we still have a lot of hope. Brad Guzan perhaps had his last moment as a Five Stripe, and we are wishing him the best. Martinez gets another surgery. Two ruptured achilles in two weeks, not saying it's Aliens, but it was Aliens.

Dave and Mike talk about a game that is worth forgetting outside of an amazing game winning goal in extra time. Moreno get’s a legal push off, and puts a slow moving header into the far post. We also talk about the USMNT World Cup draw and odds to make it out of Group B.

A tie that feels like a win? Atlanta United FC draw 3-3 vs CF Montreal at home after Dom Dwyer gets a red card in the 66 minute. Dave and Mike break down the shambolic goal that Montreal scored to make it 1-1. Dave rants on Pineda's set up off the corner, and Mike points the finger at Ronald Hernandez. Thiago Almada scores a gem, and Lennon closes the deal with a bit of luck. We talk about it all.

Dave and Mike talk about the squeaky bum win over Charlotte FC at home at the Benz. We still need some new chants to fire up the crowd and get people standing. Dave breaks down the corner kick zone defense and we praise Moreno’s amazing deep ball to Jake to put the final dagger into the Charlotte chest. We talked about it all.

Atlanta United Trivia is back and we learn a little about the MLS growth and soccer potential in the USA. Dave brings a great bottle of Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon so we can talk about it all. Including, our home opener win against Sporting Kansas City and our rough loss against Colorado Rapids. Without our starters, Dave is happy about Pineda playing it proper from the whistle.

Mike and Dave take the fire to the rainy parking lot of Elliott Street Pub. Atlanta United win 3 -1 over Sporting KC with a thin squad. Araujo gets the first goal and sets the path to victory.
